HONESDALE, PA — PA State Rep. Jeff Olsommer (R-139) recently visited the Honesdale VA Outpatient Clinic as part of a road trip to local veteran-support agencies. Olsommer toured the site, met the providers and discussed services as well as health care needs and accessibility for veterans.
The Honesdale VA outpatient clinic is part of Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC). This August, it will mark its 10th anniversary of operating as a partnership with the Veterans Administration Hospital in Wilkes-Barre. The site offers primary care, women’s health, phlebotomy services and more to eligible veterans.
The Honesdale office currently serves as the medical home for over 1,000 veterans and is accepting new patients. For more information, call the clinic at 570/251-6543 or visit wmchc.net.
Verify eligibility by calling 877/928-2621 prior to making a first appointment.
