Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed a joint session of Congress last week.
Netanyahu is the same head of state who, the last time he was in the U.S., was invited, over Obama’s head in a hostile move, by the Republicans. He insulted president Obama at the time and has never been grateful for the massive military support given to his government by the United States.
His party supports racist and genocidal policies towards Palestine and hostility towards Syria and Lebanon.
If this were not bad enough he has developed into a MAGA-loving voice. He sought a meeting with Donald Trump during his visit. He has been notably hostile toward President Biden as well.
Also, and most importantly, please note that the U.N. is recognizing that Hamas and the Israeli military have both committed war crimes and there is simply no contrition by P.M. Netanhayu in this matter.

I hope our senators and congressperson skipped the joint address.
