No Kings protest in Kingston, NY

Protesting is a fundamental Constitutional right in America. The National Guard suited up for war against thousands of Los Angelinos exercising this right is a chilling reminder that our country is led by a wannabe king who only respects rights he alone will give and take away. Like all depraved kings, Donald Trump aims to increase his power through fear and force.

June 14 is Flag Day, and is the day the first American army was formed to liberate the colonies from the tyranny of King George III. Ironically, this year, Trump is using that now-mighty military to celebrate himself with a multi-million-dollar parade (in a time of budget cuts) as a show of royal invincibility.

Liberated Americans proclaim June 14 to be NO KINGS DAY. Everyone who values the American Way of Life that dumped a king in 1776, and will not tolerate another one, can gather for a rally and a parade at Academy Green in Kingston, NY at 2:30 p.m.

It is up to us to continue to use our right to protest the destruction of our democratic government and the resources our taxes provide. Americans will not exchange RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS for a monarchy looting the public purse to pay for more military armaments, snatch and grab ICE forces, detention camps, tax breaks for the wealthiest, and gold for a king.
