MONTICELLO, NY — The New York State Department of Transportation announced that an online public meeting will be held on Thursday, October 7 at 5 p.m. to outline plans to improve Interchange 105 on State Route 17 (at State Route 42) in the Town of Thompson, Sullivan County. The project is intended to enhance safety and prepare the interchange for the road’s eventual conversion to Interstate 86.
The public can access the live meeting starting at 4:30 p.m. via the project website, dot.ny.gov/901339 by clicking on the link for “Virtual Public Meeting.” Those who wish to join by phone can call 518/549-0500 and enter the access code 161 570 2876 when prompted.
PowerPoint slides from the presentation and other project companion materials will be available on the website after the live public meeting concludes.
The meeting will feature a presentation about the project by DOT staff followed by a public comment session. The project manager, DOT engineers and consultants will be available to take comments and answer questions. Written comments and questions can also be sent to DOT by October 22. Comment forms can be found on the project website. Comments can also be emailed to the project manager at Alexander.Prince@dot.ny.gov.
