LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — Janae Myers has taken over as the new director of development at New Hope Community.
Myers joins the organization with a history of philanthropic and business-oriented work, particularly in nonprofits.
She will focus on empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and spearhead New Hope’s funding and grant initiatives to expand program development and community engagement.
Prior to joining the organization, Myers spent over a decade building her expertise in business development, strategic planning and integrated marketing. Most recently, she served as lead fundraiser and strategist for Independent Living, Inc. and Independent Home Care Inc., both organizations dedicated to person-centered support for individuals with disabilities.
“Her solid expertise and deep passion for creating positive philanthropic positioning that forwards our mission is beyond welcome and very exciting,” said New Hope Community CEO Debra McGinness.
