ROSCOE, NY — The COVID-19 pandemic made a traditional Memorial Day parade in Roscoe impossible, so the hamlet instead opted for a caravan of vehicles. The vehicles drove past a memorial display set up on Main Street to honor veterans of all the wars the U.S. has participated in. There was a strong presence of the Roscoe Rockland Fire Department with officials and trucks lined up on the main thoroughfare of the town. A few residents viewed the caravan live from the street, some with masks, some without. The 15-minute event provided the feeling of a holiday gathering for those who attended.
