MIDDLETOWN, NY — The Master Gardener volunteers of Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) Orange County are currently holding their annual soil sale.

“Consider purchasing high-quality soil from us—your plants will thank you for it,” a press release reads. “This purchase will help you prepare for your gardening projects and support the exceptional community work of the Orange County Master Gardener Volunteer Program.”

The bags of soil are 2.8 cubic-foot bags of a professional growing mix called Premiere Pro Mix with Mycorrhizae. Each bag costs $38, and the supply is limited.

All soil must be ordered in advance and picked up on Tuesday, April 1 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Pickup will be at the CCE Orange County office building, located at 18 Seward Ave. Any soil not picked up by 6 p.m. will be forfeited, and no refunds will be issued.

Soil can be ordered at www.tinyurl.com/mgvsoilsale. Those seeking more information can call 845/344-1234 ext.240 or email Katy Boula at keb332@cornell.edu.
