NARROWSBURG, NY – The Burgs’ Main St. was out for tree lighting this past Saturday, December 7. The tree donated to the town by Nick Brying and Aaron McIntire glowed, with hot cocoa and a cookie handout station in front. People paraded in costumes as life-size gingerbread, snowmen, and princesses. There were marshmallows to be roasted under the supervision of members of the Narrowsburg Fire Department, which could be enjoyed while watching elf acrobatics performed outside the Chi Hive.
The festivities were complete with horse-and-carriage rides, in which rosy-cheeked children were pulled past Big Eddy Brewing where heat lamps sat outside for folks to get warm as they watched the holiday celebration.
