BETHEL, NY — Lake Superior State Park will remain open to the public for picnicking, boat rentals, and swimming on Saturdays during September. Hours will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Daily admission to enter the park is $5 per person. Season Pass holders, children under 3 years old and veterans who present a valid ID issued through the Sullivan County Return the F.A.V.O.R. program can enter for free. Boat rental fee is $8 per hour—choose from kayaks (1- or 2-person), pedalboats or rowboats.
Several picnic pavilions are available for rent; please contact the Parks, Recreation & Beautification office at 845/807-0287 for more information.
Located on Dr. Duggan Road in Bethel, Lake Superior State Park is operated by the County of Sullivan pursuant to a cooperative agreement with the Palisades Interstate Park Commission.
