HURLEYVILLE, NY — Local artist, food artist, and cake artist Kim Simons—who has recently been seen competing on Food Network's “Halloween Wars” and “The Big Bake”—will be signing copies of her cookbook at the Sullivan County Museum in Hurleyville on Sunday, December 5 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The signing is part of the museum's Theme Tree open house and craft fair. The museum is located at 265 Main St. in Hurleyville.
Simons writes "Kim's Kitchen," a monthly column for the River Reporter. Her cookbook, “Get All Cook-y With Kim,” is made up of an eclectic variety of gluten-free recipes, and sells for $10.
In addition, Simons' husband—local author Bill Fleck—will be signing copies of his books as well, including his latest, “Chaney’s Baby,” a nonfiction examination of a troubled time in the life of actor Lon Chaney, Jr.
