FORESTBURGH, NY — Registration is now open for the Forestburgh Playhouse (FBP) Academy’s summer programs, which take place in August at the playhouse.
The workshops are designed to educate and enrich young artists who love to sing, dance and perform.
The academy is offering two programs this summer: the one-week Musical Theatre Intensive for kids aged eight to 12 from Sunday, August 6 through Saturday, August 12; and the two-week Theatre for Young Artists Musical Camp, for youth aged 13 to 17, takes place Monday, August 14 to Saturday, August 26.
The former program will put on a re-telling of Hercules, and the latter will put on a full-length production of the “Spongebob SquarePants: the Broadway Musical.”
