HARRISBURG, PA – Reps. Jonathan Fritz (R-Susquehanna/Wayne) and Mike Peifer (R-Pike/Wayne) announced that the Wayne County Historical Society and Pike County Historical Society were each awarded a $4,000 Cultural and Historical Support grant through the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
“They are committed to honoring and preserving our heritage. I applaud their service and want to see them continue their mission.” said Fritz.
The goal of this program is to strengthen Pennsylvania’s museum community by supporting the general operations of eligible museums and official county historical societies that are not supported by other state agency funding programs.
