HAWLEY, PA — As Harmony in the Woods prepared for its current season, lawmakers who have supported the venue stopped by.
Sen. Lisa Baker (R-20) and Reps. Joseph Adams (R-139) and Jonathan Fritz (R-111) joined Foundation for Harmony Presents trustees Jill Carletti, Joseph Faubel and Ned Sader for a tour of the site. Harmony underwent infrastructure upgrades, including expanded parking, additional work to the hillside, sound and lighting enhancements and expansion of its fiber-based system to allow for live streaming.
Baker and Fritz were instrumental in helping with early development issues involving state agencies. Adams continues his support from his previous position as a Wayne County Commissioner.
Leeward served as the primary site contractor with Wallis Electric and Adam’s Hardscape—all original contractors returning for the Phase III upgrades.
The lawmakers secured a $100,000 Keystone Communities grant, which will be used for additional upgrades in 2024.
