LAKE ARIEL, PA —Lacawac Sanctuary recently announced a special opportunity for Green Mountain Energy customers to receive a $100 incentive toward registration for Lacawac’s 2025 summer camps. The offer supports outdoor education and exploration, making nature-based learning experiences more accessible to families, the sanctuary said.

Green Mountain Energy customers can take advantage of this limited-time promotion by completing Lacawac Sanctuary’s short camp interest form and customer verification form. Upon successful verification, eligible customers will receive a promotional discount code to apply at registration. This promotion is not retroactive and runs until May 31.

Lacawac Sanctuary’s summer camps provide immersive, hands-on environmental education for children of all ages. Campers engage in activities such as hiking, wildlife observation, water ecology studies and team-building challenges, all while fostering a deeper connection with nature. 

This is the second year Green Mountain Energy has supported Lacawac Sanctuary’s summer camps. Green Mountain Energy’s charitable program, Sun Club, also provided Lacawac Sanctuary with a $43,000 grant in 2023 for an 8.28 kW solar array on the sanctuary’s education center. This installation will offset 100 percent of the building’s energy needs.
