‘Soar with the Eagles’ children’s art workshop

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — Morgan Outdoors will host an art workshop, “Soar with the Eagles,” for children ages seven to 10. There are two sessions to choose from: Sunday, July 14 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or Sunday, July 21 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Creations will become part of the “Eagle in its Environs” exhibit at Morgan Outdoors.
Parents are asked to stay with their child for first 10 minutes and last 15 minutes. The registration fee of $5 per child covers the cost of materials. Pre-registration is required. Visit www.morgan-outdoors.com or call 845/439-5507.

Free photography workshop

HONESDALE, PA — The Stourbridge Project will host a free photography workshop on Saturday, July 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 646 Park St., on the second floor. Participants will learn some of the core concepts of photography and tips from presenters John Rocklin and Laurie A. Guzda.

‘A Bright New Boise’ at the Rivoli

SOUTH FALLSBURG, NY — The Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop (SCDW) will be staging Samuel D. Hunter’s comedy “A Bright New Boise” for six performances, July 12 through 14 and 19 through 21 at the Rivoli Theatre.

Performances on Friday and Saturday begin at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $12 for seniors over 60, students with valid ID and military/veterans.

‘Broken Burned Stolen Defaced’


HURLEYVILLE, NY — An opening reception for Mike Osterhout’s “Broken Burned Stolen Defaced” will take place on Saturday, July 13 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Gallery 222. The exhibit spans more than 40 years of work and various disciplines including social sculpture, conceptual, craft and performance art.
