WOODRIDGE, NY — On December 23,  the Village of Woodridge Police Department arrested Yitzchok “Yits” Brown, a 30-year-old male formally from the Village of Woodridge, and now residing in Florida. This was following a week-long criminal investigation into a reported sexual abuse that occurred in 2018.

Brown was charged with Criminal Sex Act in the First Degree, Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, Criminal Sexual Act in the Second Degree, all felonies. Brown was also charged with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both misdemeanors.

Brown was arraigned in front of Woodridge Justice David Maho and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail pending a later court appearance.
