HONESDALE, PA — Borough officials of Honesdale wishes to remind Honesdale residents that neither people nor dogs are allowed in the dog park at this time.

The dog park at 1872 Fair Avenue is soon to be completed; however, until it is completed, it remains a construction site. Officials are requesting that visitors stay outside the construction zone if they wish to view the progress or enjoy the trails and other areas of the Apple Grove park.

There will be an announcement of the official opening ceremony in the coming weeks. The safety of all is paramount, including that of contractors, park visitors and pets.
