REGIONAL — For its 25th anniversary, the Delaware Highlands Conservancy is hosting a raffle for an Old Town Heron 9 kayak and paddle. Tickets are now available for purchase and cost $10 each. Proceeds will support the conservancy’s mission to protect the Upper Delaware River Region.

The drawing will take place on Saturday, August 24 at the conservancy’s Firefly Picnic at its Lemons Brook Farm office in Bethel, NY. The winner does not need to be present to win, but must pick up their kayak by September 30.

Walk the Benjamin Cosor Trail

FALLSBURG, NY — On July 10 from 5:30 to 7 p.m., weather permitting, the Sullivan Renaissance team invites the public to walk the Benjamin Cosor Elementary School Trail located behind the school. Visitors will learn how the trail developed from an idea and materialized with the help of a Sullivan Renaissance grant. The project leader will be available for questions.
