Dr. Lawrence Caruth, 83, of Honesdale, PA, passed away October 6, 2021. Lawrence was born October 24, 1937 in Sterling Township, PA. A funeral blessing was held October 14 at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Honesdale. Interment with military honors followed in St. John’s Cemetery.
Ronald M. Cholewka, 62, of Port Jervis, NY, passed away October 8, 2021 at home. Ronald was born November 16, 1958 in Paterson, NJ. A memorial service was held October 14 at the Hope Evangelical Free Church in Matamoras, PA.
Ray Edward Derman Jr., 83, of Damascus Township, PA, passed away October 8, 2021 at the Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA. Ray was born in 1938 in New York City. A celebration of his life will be held at a future date.
Betty M. Ehrich, 96, of Franconia, NH and formerly of Hankins, NY, passed away September 2, 2021, at Lafayette Center in Franconia. Betty was born April 9, 1925 in Hankins. A memorial service was held October 9 at First United Methodist Church in Littleton, NH. Burial followed in the Glenwood Cemetery in Littleton and Callicoon Cemetery in Callicoon.
Cory Dean Erk, 20, of Honesdale, PA and formerly of Hawley, passed away October 5, 2021. Cory was born March 2, 2001 in Clarksville, TN. Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel, PA.
Mary Margaret “Peggy” Evans, 73, of Newfoundland, PA, passed away October 12,2021 at Geisinger-Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA. Mary was born May 28, 1948 in Honesdale. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated October 19, 2021 at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church in Hawley. Inurnment will be in B.V.M. Queen of Peace Cemetery in Hawley.

A Mass of Christian burial was held October 18 in Saint Rose of Lima Church in Carbondale. Interment was in Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery in Finch Hill.
