Jean M. Bidwell, 85, of Honesdale, PA, passed away April 22, 2022 at Bethany Village in Bethany, PA. Jean was born May 7, 1936 in Galilee, PA. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 7 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Honesdale at 12 noon. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service in the church.
Roy Charles Engvaldsen, 73, of Rowland, PA, passed away March 28, 2022 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA. Roy was born March 6, 1949 in Amityville, NY. Arrangements were by Frey-Fetsock Funeral Home in the village of La Anna, South Sterling, PA.
Dorothy Ann Keen, 89, of Waymart, PA, passed away April 25, 2022 at home. Dorothy was born October 25, 1932. A Mass of Christian burial was held April 28 at St. Mary’s Church in Waymart. Interment took place at Keen Cemetery in Waymart.
Dr. Jay E. Long, 83, of Honesdale, PA, passed away April 24, 2022 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. Jay was born June 18, 1938 in Ross Township, Luzerne County, PA. Funeral services were held April 29 at the Tabernacle Bible Church in Honesdale. Burial and the graveside service were held May 2 in Elan Memorial Park Cemetery in Bloomsburg, PA.
Virginia N. Pauler, 75, of Aldenville, PA, passed away April 29, 2022 at Allied Hospice. Virginia was born May 1, 1946 in Honesdale, PA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 5 at 11 a.m. in the Aldenville Baptist Church, 971 Creek Dr., Prompton, PA. Viewing will be on Thursday morning in the church from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment will be Thursday in Aldenville Cemetery.
