Jerome Bauer, 75, of Callicoon, PA, passed away March 4, 2021 at home. Jerome was born December 15, 1945 in Callicoon. Private graveside burial services will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Callicoon at the convenience of the family. A memorial mass at Holy Cross Church will be held at a later date in May.

Douglas R. Butler

Douglas R. Butler, 56, of Shohola, PA, passed away February 21, 2021. Due to the pandemic, no services honoring Doug have been arranged at this time.

William L. Franklin Jr.

William L. Franklin Jr., 80, of Glen Spey, NY, passed away March 2, 2021 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center in Liberty, NY. William was born July 12, 1940 in Queens, NY. A memorial service was held on March 7 at the Harrison Rasmussen Funeral Home in Barryville, NY.

Donald ‘Red’ Hammond

Donald “Red” Hammond, 87, of Honesdale, PA, passed away March 4, 2021 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center in Honesdale. Donald was born April 22, 1933 in Cedar Hill, NY. Following cremation, private services will be held at the convenience of his family.

Margaret ‘Marge’ Hook

Margaret “Marge” Hook of Bethany, PA, passed away March 2, 2021 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center in Honesdale, PA. Margaret was born January 28, 1927. As per her request, Marge willed her body for studies in the furtherance of scientific medicine to the Pennsylvania Humanity Gifts Registry.

Betty Gertrude Menotti Jackson

Betty Gertrude Menotti Jackson, 88, of Honesdale, PA, passed away February 19, 2021 at Allied Services Hospice Center in Scranton, PA. Betty was born July 30, 1932 in Hawley, PA. In light of COVID-19 restrictions, a graveside memorial service will be held for family and friends at the Green Gate Cemetery in Hawley at a yet to be determined date.

Daniel James Petroski

Daniel James Petroski, 57, of Honesdale, PA, passed away March 5, 2021 at Parkhouse Nursing and Rehab Center in Royersford, PA. Daniel was born July 17, 1963 in Honesdale. Interment with military honors will be in the spring in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Honesdale.

Timothy Joseph Roberts

Timothy Joseph Roberts, 33, of Long Eddy, NY, passed away March 2, 2021 at home. Timothy was born March 4, 1987 in Towanda, PA. A memorial service will be held for immediate family only due to COVID-19 restrictions. 

Eleanor M. ‘Ellie’ Schenck

Eleanor M. “Ellie” Schenck, 83, of Jeffersonville, NY, passed away March 5, 2021. Eleanor was born June 4, 1937 in Queens, NY. Friends may call on Thursday, March 11 at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home Jeffersonville, NY from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral services will be at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Kenoza Lake Cemetery in Kenoza Lake, NY.

Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Soos

Elizabeth “Betty” Soos, 83, of Honesdale, PA, passed away March 3, 2021 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. Betty was born September 22, 1937 in Croydon, England. As per her request, cremation will be held and there will be no public services.

Stephen A. Unflat

Stephen A. Unflat, 65, of Hawley, PA, passed away February 23, 2021 at home. Stephen was born October 24, 1955 in Queens, NY. A celebration of Stephen’s life will be held at a later date with his family and many friends.
