Crêpe for class

JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — Chef Soraia Haberli of Soraia’s Kitchen and Sullivan West senior Jessica Schwalb have joined forces to help give the students of Sullivan County the opportunity to continue their education in a safe and encouraging environment outside of the classroom.

Haberli and Schwalb are raising money for scholarship funding for the Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Club to provide afterschool academic programs for the students in Sullivan County. The Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Club is an organization that provides the students of Sullivan County and Northern Orange County with afterschool “life-enhancing programs and character development experiences,” hygiene products and school supplies.

Haberli, with the help of Schwalb, has expanded her menu to include French crêpes for this fundraising effort. The proceeds from the sale of each crêpe will go directly to the scholarship fund at the Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Club. To participate in this fundraiser, find Soraia’s Kitchen at the Farmers’ Markets in Callicoon (Sundays, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.), Narrowsburg (Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and Barryille (Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.).

For personal order (minimum of 5 containers), contact soraiaskitchen@gmail.com. For more information, contact crepes4change@gmail.com or call 845/428-2545. To reach the Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Club, contact 845/342-8833.
