GRAHAMSVILLE, NY — The upcoming Kay Danchak Memorial Youth Outdoor Expo is free of charge for kids aged 5 to 15.
Also free? Ice cream, hot dogs, chips and soft drinks (with the adults paying a nominal amount). There will be maple cotton candy too. Goody bags will be given to the first 100 children to register.
The expo will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 14 at the Grahamsville Fairgrounds on Route 55. It will include hands-on fun, with presentations on and demonstrations of:
Officers from the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation K-9 Unit and Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office will also give demonstrations.
Children must be accompanied by an adult, and must be present to receive prizes.
The event is sponsored by the Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs of Sullivan County and co-sponsored by the Tri-Valley Lions Club and the Sullivan County Long Beards.
