NARROWSBURG, NY — Capital District Physicians Health Plan (CDPHP®) has added Thomas Rue of Choices Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) to its provider network. Effective retroactively from June 1, CDPHP members now have access to the mental health and substance use recovery counseling services offered by CMHC.

Located at 7 Erie Ave. in the Narrowsburg Union, CMHC provides in-person and virtual services to meet the diverse needs of the community. 

Rue, a licensed mental health and substance abuse counselor based for over a decade in Monticello and a professional counselor since 1985, said he offers extensive experience with a compassionate approach. “I’m happy to join the CDPHP network and extend our services to more individuals in need. My goal is to provide accessible and high-quality mental health care, and this partnership allows us to reach even more members of our community.”

CDPHP members can now benefit from group and individual psychotherapy at CMHC, including counseling for anxiety, depression, trauma and substance use disorders.
