Child's play

I have always been enamored with the wisdom of children, especially toddlers. In those first few years, their appetite for learning and growing is unparalleled. They are innately moved to learn new skills: to roll over, to learn to speak, to crawl, to walk, to master stairs. To celebrate those accomplishments, to be curious, and to be connected to all that is alive.

They are untethered to judgment. They are intimately connected to the poetry of the world.

It seems they know it in their hearts. And live it in their spirits.

Rilke, Quote of the week.
