PAUL SALZBERG
"My name is Dr. Paul Salzberg. I am running for re-election to the Cochecton Town Board. I have been a Lake Huntington resident for 36 years. I have served on the town board for the past six years. The health, safety, and well-being of Cochecton is the reason I want to remain on the town board.
I will be a strong advocate for the ambulance corps. Their continued service is vital to our community. I will work to protect our vulnerable senior citizens. All our residents deserve a place to walk and enjoy our beautiful area. The roads may not be the safest places for people to enjoy walking and bike riding. Grants may be obtained to increase parks in our communities. We have a beautiful lake. I will continue to advocate to keep our lake clean and enjoyable for all.
I have worked with the other board members to keep our taxes down. I would encourage new businesses and new homeowners to come to Cochecton. I have often offered a “second opinion” as a board member even if it was a opposition to other board members.
Our board meetings have to be more transparent, we need to have more community participation at the meetings. I strongly encourage community attendance, since many important decisions are made at these meetings.
Every vote counts, especially in a small town. Let’s keep the doctor in the house. I would appreciate your vote. Thank you."

KAMBRI CREWS
"My name is Kambri Crews. I’m a business owner with experience in banking, law, event production and publicity. I’m a firm believer in “thinking globally; acting locally.” It doesn’t get more local than my town of Cochecton, and that’s why I’m running for town council.
I had a pretty wild childhood living “off the grid” in the deep woods of Texas with no electricity or running water. Despite never attending college, through hard work and dedication I became a successful business owner. When my business was shut down by COVID, I funneled my fear and frustration into action to save my livelihood and community, which included:
As a Cochecton councilmember, I aim to attract and support fellow small business owners, preserving our landscape and legacy. Additionally, I want to ensure that all town business is accessible and open to the public, something that has been sorely lacking. I believe every voice must be heard and that transparency and access are fine places to start. I believe my drive, dedication and breadth of experience make me an ideal candidate for town council."
