LAKE HUNTINGTON, NY — All hail the Bulldogs.
On March 3, Sullivan West High School honored its winter-season scholar-athletes with an awards ceremony.
In his introductory remarks, athletic director David Eggleton reportedly said that of the seven winter season sports programs, five advanced to postseason competition.
Engraved trophies were presented to individual scholar-athletes by their coaches in several categories of athletic competition.
Varsity boys’ Alpine skiing 2022, coached by Lionel Billard; assisted by Scott Scardino:
Parker Tyler—Most Valuable Skier, Caden Allen—Most Improved Skier.
Varsity girls’ Alpine skiing 2022, coached by Lionel Billard; assisted by Scott Scardino:
Lucia Kennedy—Most Valuable Skier, varsity girls’ Alpine ski
Wrestling 2022, coached by Joshua Potter:
Rally Cruz—Most Improved Wrestler, Eldred/Sullivan West varsity wrestling.

Varsity boys’ indoor track and field 2022, coached by Stephen Rogers; assisted by Will Schlott:

Winter scholar-athlete teams: Girls’ varsity indoor track and field and boys’ varsity basketball were honored. More than 75 percent of each squad achieved a grade of 90 percent or higher in the classroom.
Individual scholar-athletes:
Tyler Stevenson, Paige Muzuruk, Taylor Brustman, Bella Wagner, Angela Cordischi, Rosalyn Tanner, Dillan Hanslmaier, Ryan-Joyce Turner and Jared Kratz.
