BINGHAMTON, NY — With border security now the top issue in the race for New York's 19th Congressional District, the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) announced it's endorsing Congressman Marc Molinaro. The NBPC represents 18,000 Border Patrol agents and support personnel assigned to the U.S. Border Patrol.
National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) President Paul Perez said, “Marc understands that open borders mean every state is a border state. Look no further than the recent arrest of a Peruvian gang leader in Endicott, NY – almost two thousand miles away from the U.S.-Mexico border. This individual – who is wanted for multiple murders – illegally crossed our border with Mexico earlier this year and was released into our country posing a major threat to public safety. The dangerous policies of the Biden-Harris Administration must end and we know Marc Molinaro will continue to fight for the safety and security of our country. Marc has our endorsement because he embraces a comprehensive approach to border security that includes more support for the men and women on the frontlines, building physical infrastructure and barriers, and deploying innovative border security technology. Please join the NBPC in fighting for border security and support Marc Molinaro for Congress.”
Congressman Molinaro said, "Voters aren't falling for Josh Riley's lies. As a DC Insider, he advanced an extreme agenda that opened our border to drugs, criminals, and put the lives of border patrol agents in jeopardy. This endorsement is vindication that the men and women who patrol our borders want me to keep fighting to stop open border activists like Josh Riley."
