LAKE ARIEL, PA — At 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 17, all are invited to Lacawac Sanctuary for an introduction to winter birding.
The event is appropriate for all ages.
Learn how to use a field guide, identify native bird calls and use binoculars in preparation for this year’s Christmas Bird Count. Then you can put your knowledge to the test with a bird walk through the forest.
Lacawac Sanctuary will provide supplies, but you can bring your own.
The program is open to all levels of birders. Registration is free.
The sanctuary is located at 94 Sanctuary Rd.
