UPPER DELAWARE RIVER VALLEY — Whether it’s sweeping vistas of the Upper Delaware River or intimate small streams that meander through undisturbed forests, natural beauty is the landscape of the Upper Delaware River Valley. In this week’s issue, timely for Earth Day, we explore the many activities and initiatives that provide a foundation for important area stewardship. Our Green and Simple pages highlight the basics of solar energy, keeping things green in our kitchens, an intro to EV driving, and a proposed $11 billion project that will jumpstart New York State’s Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act. Check out Mark McLaren’s opinion piece on the complexities of solar energy and, above all else, don’t litter or do things to mess the area up.
Here’s to the beauty all around.
