HONESDALE, PA — Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell announced the following case was addressed by the Honorable Janine Edwards, President Judge Wayne County Court:

RICHARD J. ASTLE, age 57, of Tyler Hill,PA, was sentenced to undergo incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 60 days, followed by 36 months probation with 6 months House Arrest with Electronic and Alcohol Monitoring through the SCRAM program for one count DUI-Highest Rate 2nd Offense (M1). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay the mandatory minimum fine of $1,500, participate and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment in accordance with his assessment, comply with and participate in Certified Recovery Services provided by Wayne County Drug and Alcohol, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, obtain employment within 60 days of parole or provide documentation from a doctor precluding him from employment. The incident occurred on June 13, 2021 in Oregon Township.

BARRY JOE DAVIS, age 22, of Honesdale, PA, was sentenced to 6 months probation for one count of Criminal Mischief-Damage Property (M3), one count Defiant Trespass-Actual Communication to (M3), and one count Public Drunkenness (S). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, and maintain employment or provide documentation from a doctor precluding him from employment. The incident occurred on November 6, 2021 in Damascus Township.

ORION TAJON CAREY JACKO, age 25, of Honesdale, PA, was sentenced to 12 months probation for one count of Criminal Conspiracy-Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition (M1). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, and pay restitution in the amount of $5,522.65. The incident occurred on June 14, 2021 in Honesdale Borough.

SARAH ELIZABETH SAUVE, age 50, of Hubert, NC, was sentenced to 6 months probation for one count of Bad Checks (M2). She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, and pay restitution in the amount of $1,155.92. The incident occurred between March 22, 2018 and April 10, 2018 in Honesdale Borough.

AMANDA LYNN STOUT, age 40, of Lake Ariel, PA, was sentenced to 6 months probation for one count of DUI (M). She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay the mandatory minimum fine of $300, participate in and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment in accordance with her assessment, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, and continue with mental health treatment and comply with any recommendations for treatment. The incident occurred on July 26, 2021 in Dreher Township.

GRANT PERCY WHITE STRUBLE, age 30, of Honesdale, PA, was issued a Bench Warrant for failure to appear at court.

ADAM M. DEGROOT, age 49, of Lake Ariel, PA, was issued a Bench Warrant for failure to appear at court.
