MONTICELLO, NY — The Sullivan County Chamber Orchestra (SCCO) will offer a one-night-only performance by SCCO co-founder Akiko Hosoi at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, November 25 at St. John’s Episcopal Church.
Hosoi will be accompanied by pianist Vladimir Rumyantsev in a program that will include César Franck’s Sonata for Violin and Piano and Romance by Amy Beach.
“The Franck sonata is a staple in the repertoire of any violinist and is considered one of the finest sonatas for violin and piano ever composed,” an SCCO member said.
The church is located at 15 St. John St.
Tickets cost a suggested donation of $25 and will be available at the door. You can also reserve tickets online at linktr.ee/nesinculturalarts.
SCCO is a Nesin Cultural Arts supported project. Programs are made possible in part by funding from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Gov.
