HIGHLAND LAKE, NY — Lughnasadh is the next seasonal event of the year at the North American Cultural Laboratory (NACL), on Saturday, August 3 at 7:30 p.m.
This time it’s a celebration of the new moon. Lughnasadh (pronounced “LOO-nah-sah”) is the Celtic holiday that marks the traditional beginning of the harvest, about halfway between the summer solstice and the autumnal equinox.
Odetta and Camellia Hartman and Evan Tyor of Ladybug Land from Cochecton Center will perform, as will Kali Seastrand. There will be a special guest appearance by the “Færie Queen of the forest glade,” Kazzrie Jaxen.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase. In the event of rain, the event will move into the theatre.
Advance tickets cost $20. Tickets at the door cost $25.
For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.nacl.org.
