The Meals on Wheels program is a committed to fighting hunger by delivering nutritious meals to eligible seniors. “One in four seniors lives alone in isolation, and one in seven seniors might not know from where their next meal in coming.” In Pike County, the number of meals being delivered weekly has grown to nearly 1,000 meals. Donations to the program are welcomed. There is also the option to sponsor a senior.
