Yes, I was in Paris for a week, with my sister and brother in law. My cousins from England came over and surprised us. We had the best time ever, I went to an opera, "The Barber of Seville"—been there done that, never have to do it again. We saw the Eiffel Tower, the Mona Lisa, Notre Dame, and other churches and museum. We were going to take a boat ride on the Seine River but it was over flowing first time in 100 years. I had my picture taken near Rodin’s “The Kiss.” Paris has the best French onion soup, and I ate French fries just so I can say I ate French food. I am a very picky eater so when my cousin’s wife was trying to get me to eat snails—NO WAY. I’m thinking about a trip to England in my future, even though I am Irish, not English.

My great-grandfather and his sister left Ireland in the late 1800’s; his sister stayed in England and he came to America.
