CALLICOON, NY — With craft beers and breweries exploding in our area recently, the Western Bar, Supper Club and Inn will host “Beer Garden at the Western Ballroom” on Saturday, February 17 from 12 noon to 8 p.m. There will be craft beer—with an emphasis on local, but some German as well—and brats, vendors, games and dancing. Doug Rogers will play from 3 to 5 p.m. and Mountain Wave at 6 p.m. Catskill Provisions will be offering tastings of its Honey Whiskey, which is made with honey from Long Eddy, and Catskill Brewery—this year’s featured sponsor—will introduce the newly brewed and not previously released Nightshine Black Lager and a surprise beer that they will be brewing just for the beer garden.
