Eldred-Liberty-Sullivan West grapplers defeat Ellenville 51-18

LAKE HUNTINGTON, NY — The combined wrestling team of Eldred-Liberty-Sullivan West (ELSW) got off to an auspicious start in the first-ever match at Sullivan’s West High School on Wednesday, December 6.

Indians ‘pound’ Dawgs

LIBERTY, NY — If you post 30-something turnovers, you’d better play some serious hoops if you expect to win.

On Friday, December 1, the visiting Bulldogs of Sullivan West were pounded as they took on the home team Liberty Indians (1-0), who won their season opener 76-34.

Lady Bulldogs soccer season ends in tears

MIDDLETOWN, NY — Dreams are like wishes, in that sometimes when you shoot for the stars you come up a bit short.

The Lady Bulldogs of Sullivan West battled the Millbrook Lady Blazers on Wednesday, October 25 for the coveted Section IX Class C championship at Middletown High’s Faller Field.

Hambletonians Whip Roscoe 42-19

CHESTER, NY — Run for your life or rush for glory. Or both if the hounds are at your heels.

For Blue Devils quarterback Collin Hauschild, it was a game of both when the Roscoe Blue Devils faced off against the Hambletonians of Chester to determine the victor of the Section IX Class C playoff on Friday, October 20.

NARROWSBURG, NY — For the second year running, the Irish/American duo of Patrick Brennan and Aaron Crescenti (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 10) were the overall winners of the Empire State Performance Rally (“ESPR”).  Gerard Coffey/Andrew Browne (Subaru Impreza RS) placed second, 4-1/2 minutes behind, but well ahead of Dennis Romero/Jose Maria Rodriguez
