Janine Edwards, Wayne County District Attorney, announced today the arrest of Coneil E. Moore, age 30, of Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania for Attempted Homicide, Burglary, Aggravated Assault and Simple Assault for an incident that occurred on December 8, 2017 in Gouldsboro, Lehigh Township, Wayne County.
HONESDALE, PA — The body of George Julian Rymko has been identified after last being seen in 2011. According to the National Missing Persons Data System, Rymko was last seen on January 22, 2011 in Scranton. On February 2, 2011, Rymko's vehicle was discovered at a truck stop near Gouldsboro.
On Friday December 8, 2017 at about 11:30 PM, a special holiday DWI patrol from the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office arrested Gerard T. Niero, age 28, of Smallwood, NY.
Developer Shalom Lamm, who earlier this year pleaded guillty to voter fraud, was sentenced on December 7 to ten months in prison, 400 hours of community service and a fine of $20,000.
On November 21, 2017 at approximately 5:30 PM, deputies from the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office attempted to stop Joshua F. VanDuser, 35, of Bethel on State Route 55 in Swan Lake. VanDuser was wanted on an arrest warrant issued in the Town of Liberty for the larceny of a trail camera.

Janine Edwards, Wayne County District Attorney, announced today the arrest of John Joseph Henneforth Jr., age 38 of Greentown, Pennsylvania. Henneforth is charged with Delivery of Heroin (F), Criminal Use of Communication Facility (F), and Possession of Heroin (M).
On September 15, 2017, the Detective Division of the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Senior Investigator Yan Salomon of the NY State Police in Monroe regarding a cold case that he was working on. The case involved the recovery of skeletal remains in Orange County.
Monticello police arrested Ivan Velasquez, age 50, of Monticello for misdemeanor Aggravated Driving While intoxicated at 9:00 PM Friday 10/20/17 and again on Saturday 10/21/17 at 8:50 PM.
