It’s been a memorable March thus far in Narrowsburg and surrounding areas: no power for almost a week, downed trees we’ll be cleaning up for years to come, and a textbook case of how a community comes together to cope in an emergency.

That was one hell of a storm we had on Friday; my power went out at 11 a.m. on Friday. I counted to 13, and then my generator kicked in. I got a Generac generator from American Electric—the best thing I ever bought. Michael Jr. and Eric at American Electric installed it, and Cochecton Oil took care of my propane tank—that should last four days.
