On Thursday January 29, 2015 Liberty Troopers arrested a Swan Lake man for Assault 3rd stemming from a Domestic Dispute.

Liberty Troopers responded to a Sullivan County 911 poll for a Domestic Dispute on Thursday night. Upon arrival to the residence and investigation into matter it was determined that, Robert Bartels of Swan Lake, had assaulted his wife during a dispute. Bartels was arrested and transported to SP Liberty. Bartels was charged with Assault 3rd and Criminal Obstructing of Breathing. Bartels was arraigned in Town of Bethel Court and remanded to Sullivan County Jail.
