Jane Bollinger is Managing Editor having come out of early retirement to return to journalism at The River Reporter. Her previous newspaper experience includes working as a reporter at two Pennsylvania papers—The Quakertown Free Press (1970s) and The Scranton Times (1990s). In between, she worked as a local television news producer in Kansas City, MO and St. Petersburg, FL and then in New York City for WNBC local news before moving on to ABC News. She worked at Good Morning America for 14 years, starting as a writer/producer and ending her time there as managing editor and head writer.
She has a passion for eating real food grown by local farmers and for sharing her food knowledge with others. She has recently stepped down after nine summers from doing a weekly cooking demo at the Wayne County Farmers Market. She serves as chairperson of the Wayne County group of PASA (Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture) and is active in other efforts to promote agriculture as economic development for our region’s future.Click here to e-mail Jane Bollinger
