HONESDALE, PA — An educational workshop for maple syrup producers is set for Saturday, September 24 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Wayne County Cooperative Extension Office – Old Cafeteria Meeting Room, 648 Park Street. The hands-on workshop will feature Steve Childs, Cornell University Cooperative Extension maple syrup specialist. His topics will include taphole sanitation and making a reserve osmosis machine for the small maple syrup producer.

The cost is $5 per person for Northeastern Pennsylvania Maple Syrup Producer’s Association members and $10 per person for non-members.
