Christopher Castellano, 22, has been sentenced to three to six months for trespass, breaking and entering, and driving under the influence (DUI). According to the Wayne County District Attorney’s Office, the sentencing involved two separate incidents.
The first incident occurred on July 14, 2011, in Hawley when Castellano entered a private residence knowing that he did not have permission to do so. The second incident occurred on October 12, 2011 in Palmyra Township when Pennsylvania State Police were called to investigate the report of a one vehicle crash. Castellano was under the influence of several controlled substances at that time.
Along with the time in prison, Castellano was also ordered to pay all court costs, a fine in the amount of $1,500, and restitution in the amount of $11,597.24. He was also ordered to perform 50 hours of community service, submit to the drawing of a DNA sample and pay $250 for the cost of the sample.
