On February 12, 2013, the New York State Police announce the arrest of DAVID MONSERRATE-TORRES, age 25, CHAZ WALKER, age 27, and ROBERT OJEDA, age 21, all of Bronx, NY, for two counts criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Troopers stopped a 2007 BMW for traffic violations on State Route 17 in the Town of Wallkill. Further investigation by the troopers led to the discovery of a small quantity of marijuana and approximately 15 grams of heroin inside the vehicle.
The three suspects were arraigned in Town of Wallkill Justice Court and committed to Orange County Jail without bail. The approximate street value of the heroin is $7,500.00.
