On February 18, 2012, State Police in Wurtsboro arrested a man for DWI following a traffic stop on State Route 17B in the Town of Thompson. Donavan Monahan, a 25 year old Kauneonga Lake resident, was stopped for several traffic violations. Troopers detected an odor of alcohol emanating from the vehicle and MONAHAN was subsequently arrested for DWI. He is to appear in the Town of Thompson Court on March 8.
