Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther (D,C-Forestburgh) has partnered with the Monticello Veterans’ Food Pantry and agreed to designate her office as a drop-off point for donations to the pantry.
“The Veterans’ Food Pantry fills an important and ever-increasing need in our community,” said Assemblywoman Gunther. “My office is conveniently located to make donating items as convenient as possible for community members.”
“Assemblywoman Gunther’s assistance collecting donations to the food pantry is invaluable and greatly appreciated,” said Elijah Henderson, VFW Post 9588 Commander. “We’re anticipating that the use of the food pantry will continue to grow and increasing donations will become critical to our success serving those who have served our country.”
Assemblywoman Gunther’s office is located at 18 Anawana Lake Road, Monticello (across from Wal-Mart). The food pantry is seeking donations of non-perishable food items, as well as toiletries and pet food.
