LIBERTY, NY — Agricultural businesses are subject to a variety of ag-specific tax laws, deductions, and special requirements. An Agri-business Tax Workshop will be offered on Wednesday, February 12 by Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) Sullivan County. The event will take place from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at the Gerald J. Skoda Extension Education Center.
Farm Credit East and Gerald Skoda of Skoda Enterprise Inc. will present an overview of changes to federal and state tax laws, depreciations, and credits. An informative outline of how one can get started and qualify for an agricultural assessment will also be covered.
