I was down in Queens last weekend and went out to Long Island to my mother’s grave. It used to be my father’s grave; I have to remember he is still in there. She is on the back of my father’s stone military style, and we had a saying put on her side of the stone—“Open doors, open arms and open heart.” That was how my parents lived their lives and raised us. I truly was blessed with great parents. I also visited Marie Smith, who is Jean Kerrigan’s sister. She says hello to all; she is doing well.

The Lake Huntington Presbyterian Ladies Aid thanks all the ladies who made our spring luncheon a success. Women attended from Livingston Manor, Roscoe, Hortonville, Liberty, Bethel and Lake Huntington. The food and entertainment was matched only by the fellowship. A skit, written by past member Lillian Krauss, was updated for the occasion. It was a fun time for all.
