MONTICELLO, NY — Visions of sugar plums will be dancing in the heads of many during The Nesin Cultural Arts and BALAM Dance Theatre “Nutcracker Festival.” The production will take place on Sunday, November 24 at 4 p.m. at The Eugene D. Nesin Theatre for the Performing Arts at 22 St. John St.
“The Nutcracker Festival” is a special arts-based interdisciplinary production featuring 150 student artists, actors, musicians and dancers from the Aspiring Young Musicians Program, Fallsburg Central Schools, Main Street Dance of Liberty, Monticello Central Schools, and the Trombley Studio. Student artists participating in this event will have the unique privilege of collaborating with professional community artists from the music, dance, theatre, lighting design and production genres.
Tickets cost $10 for adults and are free for students. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org .
