NARROWSBURG, NY — A “Salon Series” of concerts opens on Sunday, March 3 at 2 p.m. with Rick and Donna Nestler performing Irish music and folk songs. The series continues each Sunday in March and will feature Ken and Julie: Ken DeAngelis & Julie Ziavras acoustic folk duo on March 10, The Leslie Pintchik Jazz Trio on March 17 and Little Sparrow on March 24. All performances will be held at the Delaware Arts Center’s Krause Recital Hall. Concerts begin at 2 p.m. and admission costs $10.
The Salon Series concerts are meant to be informal and comfortable, with opportunities to chat with the musicians. Brunch is available at several area restaurants for those who want to make a day of it.
Rick Nestler is a musician, songwriter and actor. He has an all-original CD called, “Spending My Days” that includes the song “The River That Flows Both Ways,” which has been recorded by Pete Seeger. Rick has released a CD of some of his favorite western music entitled “Cowboy Up,” and his CD, “The Irish in Me,” is a collection of his favorite ‘songs from the old sod’. Visit www.ricknestler.com .
